Along with the popularity of the Toy Story movies created by Disney comes the real Woody toy. As your kids surely know, Woody is the main character in the Toy Story series of movies. He is the jolly cowboy toy who steals the scene whenever he appears on screen. True to the movie, the Toy Story Talking Woody doll is a replica of the character which has a pull string at the back and can actually speak several fun phrases.

This toy is made of a mixture of hard and soft material. Its body is made up of stuffing, making it soft, while its face as well as the accessories are made of hard plastic. It is recommended for kids ages 4 and up. The main feature of the talking Woody doll is that well, it can talk. It can say phrases like “I like to play guitar!” and “Hey howdy hey, deputies!” when you pull the string behind it. The phrases that the toy says are not usually heard in the movie since Woody in the movie can really speak full sentences. Nevertheless it is still fun to hear the toy’s own phrases. The quality of the sound is okay. It is clear and understandable, although it sounds kind of robot-y (of course basically all talking toys sounds this way) but your kids will not mind. The sound of the toy is similar to the one in movies, but it can get a bit unnerving to parents if it keeps on repeating phrases. The only negative comment that is usually heard on the Toy Story talking Woody doll is that since kids that play with it are often rough its strings sometimes have a short life span. Of course if your child is careful with it the toy may last much longer. Similar to other stringed toys, if the string on this Woody doll is pulled out, it will not talk anymore.
