LEGO has taken their toys to a whole new level. with the development of one of their newest products, LEGO Creationary. This is the new board game from LEGO that has quickly become one of the hottest games this season. This game still uses traditional LEGO blocks (which is their trademark), but it is quite different from their usual toys, since it is board game. Yes, this LEGO set comes complete with a board and dice. But its similarity to a regular board game ends there.
Unsurprisingly, Creationary is a very fun game for kids and even many adults (kids at heart) The game is similar to a Pictionary in such a way that the other players have to guess the object that you are trying to created. However with Creationary, rather than drawing a picture you have to build the thing that you want the other players to guess using LEGO blocks. The dice that is included in the game is not the same as a regular pair. Instead of the black dots showing the number, the dice in Creationary, called LEGO Dice, are made up of specific categories that show what you should build. There are four categories: buildings, nature, things, and vehicles. Once the dice is set to a specific category the player will pick a card on the category shown in the dice to see what specific thing he or she should create for the other players to guess. The dice can be shown to the players but the card should be kept a secret. There is also a difficulty level. The higher the difficulty is the more complex the objects that should be built are. The board game comes with the LEGO Dice, the board, a set of cards (96 cards) that are divided into four categories and shows what level of difficulty should be followed, 338 assorted pieces of LEGO blocks, and a tray that organizes the blocks by color.

LEGO Creationary is recommended for kids 7 years old and up as there are numerous small parts. The game costs around $35 to $40 at most retailers. This game allows from 3 to 8 players, which makes it perfect fun for the whole family. Although kids adore playing with LEGOs the fact is that many adults tend to enjoy it too, so oftentimes parents will purchase it for their kids so that they can also play at the same time.
